The PBL method is based on building a joint, multidisciplinary improvement working group whose objective is to improve results. The Control Tower is a means that gives us visibility of the Supply Chain, lets us identify problems and supports decision making.

Methodology

Our implementation process

For a successful implementation of the Control Tower, PBL follows a series of steps:

Problem definition and information gathering

Together we define what the problem is and what the basic aspects of the Supply Chain are that the Customer wants to improve. We carry out a search of the available information and determine what information is needed in the organization and where it is located.

Managing and making data reliable

It is necessary to unify, organize and process the information even when it originates from different systems. The reliability of the information enables data governance, establishing controls and alerts, using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence processes.

Information cross-referencing strategies

To turn data into information for decision making, it must be processed and cross-referenced appropriately. At PBL, knowledge of the data and the cross-referencing strategies make it possible to obtain more powerful results, tracing the causes and originators of potential Management problems.

Building the Model

The Control Tower models are defined jointly with the Customer, in order to focus on what is important for the business. We develop agile models with immediate response capability, fully geared towards obtaining results.

Exploiting the Model and action plans

The joint Customer-PBL improvement team uses the control tools and operational reports to obtain results quickly and efficiently. Once the areas for improvement are identified, the agreed action plans are launched, monitoring the results.
